Cropped - er... Folded
Well, if everything went according to plan, I'm back from vacation. I'm sure I had a lovely time, but probably got home too late on Sunday evening to worry about blogging, so this post was scheduled before I left. The internet is so fancy!
Anyway, one of the final themes for Sarah's April Looking Lucky Style Challenge is "cropped." Which, I mean, I don't have anything cropped. I thought about buying a crop-top at Forever 21, but then I remembered that I am not a 17-year-old stick-thin hipster. (No offense to anyone who actually wears crop tops, but they aren't for me).
So, I decided to roll my skinny jeans into a cropped length. Because you won't catch me showing off my tummy, but I have no shame when it comes to ankle exposure. Scandalous!
Top: Tinley Road

Hahaha. Cracking up about your 17 year-old crop top comment! Me neither, girl!
ReplyDeleteYou won't see me wearing a crop top. Also I do the same thing with my jeans all the time.
ReplyDeleteYou daring person you! ;) I roll my jeans all the time! It's so perfect during spring time!
ReplyDeleteI can't get into the cropped trend either! But I also roll mine all the time, especially in that transitional Spring to Summer weather. I love your top! It has such a fun design!
ReplyDeleteOooh showing a little ankle skin, scandalous!! And yeah, cuffed=cropped in my book! I do it with my pants all the time!
ReplyDeletehaha, I almost bought a crop top last year. I would have if I could have found one for $5-10. Because seriously, for half a shirt, you should be paying half price. ah, to be 17 again.
ReplyDeleteOh I totally get what you are saying. The key to mean is finding a crop top that doesn't cut off too high, but I know the trend isn't for everyone.
ReplyDeleteI am not jumping on the crop top trend either...would not work for me! :) But love the idea of rolling a pair of skinny jeans to create this look!
ReplyDeletegreat top dear!
