Something about a tied shirt just makes me feel like a
country girl. I'm actually the opposite. But I did read a lot of books when I was a kid about growing up on the prairie, so I am pretty good at playing Little House with my nieces. It's just like when I was a kid - they make me be Pa, because I'm the tallest. Totally unfair. And it's pretty boring until tigers attack, and then things get crazy. Imagination games are dangerous business.
Anyway, I'm linking up with Laura for
Confident Twosday!

I like this combo! I've been working up the courage to pair my gingham with my polka dot skirt for work. And I think as long as you don't put your hair in pigtails you are safe from looking too country! ;) Pa was awesome in the Little House on the Prairie books anyway.
ReplyDeletesuch a fun combo, I feel like a country girl when I wear plaid.
ReplyDeleteTigers on the prairie? Something sounds off here. But that still sounds like fun! I think my husband would love for Little House to be his real life.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! A gingham top is on my list for fall and I really like it with your floral skirt! Haha your story reminds me of a friend I used to play with in elementary school who always made me be the boy too! I specifically remember being Aladin one time when she got to be Princess Jasmine and I didn't think it was fair at all! :)
ReplyDeleteYES to this combo! The matching prints are perfect together, great color scheme. I always love this skirt on you.
ReplyDelete♥ perfectly Priya
