Do you ever have an outfit where the color combination seems perfect, but then the outfit itself just kind of falls flat? That's how I felt about this outfit back in December. So I tried the navy/gingham/tan combo in a different outfit and I think it is much better! Maybe just because I love dresses so much, or that you can see a little more of the gingham shirt? I think the belt definitely helps.
Anyway, I like this one better than the other one.

ReplyDeleteThat exact situation happens to me quite often actually--I'll get all excited about a color combination, and then the outfit just seems...off. I like both your outfits with this color combination, plus you can never go wrong with gingham in my book :)

ReplyDeleteOooh, this is so great, Andi! I really need to try wearing a button up underneath a dress one of these days - it's a look that I absolutely love on other people but am nervous to try on myself...I need to just buck up and do it!! Hahaha.
