#29 - Boot Mix-Up
One problem with having the same pair of boots in 2 colors is that you are more likely to get confused and wear black boots when you meant to wear brown boots. I have no idea how I ended up in black boots on this day, but I didn't notice it until I was in a meeting at 3:30. Sitting at my desk, I don't see my shoes, but sitting at a meeting, I was surprised to find that my boots were not brown, as intended, but black.
I think the outfit is still okay, but I would have preferred my brown boots. I also realized that this outfit is basically the same as #5, but with my vertical striped dress instead of the horizontal striped skirt. I'm so creative!

Boots: Steve Madden
Hey, you gravitate toward certain things, and there's nothing wrong with that! One day, one of my colleagues came in to school wearing a brown shoe and a black shoe. She didn't realize it until third period, so she went home and changed during her planning period! Luckily, your boots match each other even if they aren't the color you meant to pair with the outfit :)
ReplyDeleteI really love this dress on you, by the way. The cut is incredibly flattering and looks awesome with the boots!
Well black boots totally work too! And yeah, at least you didn't wear one brown one and one black one haha.
ReplyDeleteHaha oh yes that has happened to me. I have been making a concerted effort to get more color in to my wardrobe and that includes shoes!

I've had that same thing happen! It hasn't been with the same pair of shoes, but I have arrived to my office, looked at my feet, and wondered, "Did I really leave in these?" or "When did these get on my feet?"
