#5 - Sweaters on Sweaters
Here's a tip for surviving the POLAR VORTEX this winter. Wear a sweater over a sweater! I think wearing 2 thin sweaters is even warmer than wearing one bulky sweater. Plus, you get very staticky and can see sparks when you remove your cardigan at the end of the day. It's like FIREWORKS! Or you may want to try rubbing a dryer sheet over both sweaters before you attempt to layer them. Use your best judgement.

I've been looking for some cold-weather outfit inspiration with skirts and boots, this is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is great! I love the pattern mixing and the neutrals. I will definitely have to give this look a try. Great idea about layering a sweater over another sweater. Always a fan of fireworks :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny! But too true. I think two thinner layers traps body heat better than one thick one. And I am loving the pattern mixing and neutrals here. Pinning! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm laughing about the fireworks comment - it's so true! I really like this outfit, by the way. I'm a huge fan of mixing and matching neutrals, so this is a total win for me!
ReplyDeleteVery good assumption above. I am glad I am not the only one who layers a sweater over another sweater. Or a Cardigan over a Sweater Dress. Loving this Skirt and I own a very similar one I hadn't worn in ages. It will be on the blog tomorrow on Jan 30th. And please stop by today on Jan 29th to link up with Laura and I for the first time. Thanks so much.
