Shades of Blue
After rediscovering this dress recently, I wanted to try wearing it again soon. I thought it might look nice with a few different shades of blue, and I really like the result! I even used Heidi's backwards belt trick! This belt has a big silver buckle (as seen the last time I wore it, a year ago), which I didn't like with the color of this dress, so flipping it around was perfect. Now, it wasn't super comfortable to have a belt buckle digging into my spine when I sat down, but hey, that's the price of fashion sometimes, right?
Dress: Old Navy (maxi, leather, lace)

I really love the champagne color of this dress, and you were right, it looks all kinds of awesome with those blue accessories!
ReplyDeleteI love this with the blue! It turned out so cute! I want to make a necklace like that!
ReplyDeleteLove the color combo. I have done the belt backward before. I feel ya on not feeling so well.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I've never thought to swivel a belt around before! Thank you (and Heidi) for this inspired idea!
ReplyDeleteThe blue looks like it was part of the dress! Very pretty colors together! Great outfit!
ReplyDeleteI really like the blue paired with the neutral! I've worn a belt backwards too, and yes, it's just the price you have to pay:)
ReplyDeleteThis is actually such a great color combination. I would have never thought of putting them together but they completely rock!
ReplyDeleteBlue was a great choice! I'm glad you were able to find another way to style this dress so you could wear it again so soon!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else that navy/blue looks lovely with this dress! I'm not sure I would have thought to try it out, but I'm so glad you did, because it looks wonderful. :)
