Dress Week - Neglected Neutral
Dress week continues! **Linkup after the jump.**
This dress was saved from the back of my closet during the inventory. I haven't worn it in over a year, but I thought it was worth keeping. I love the fit and fabric, but the color seems awkward for me to style. But I got 2 compliments from people specifically about the color, so maybe I'm crazy. I do really love how it looks with my leopard cardigan!
Cardigan: H&M
Dress: Old Navy
Necklace: F21

It's a great neutral! I think I would've had a had time styling it too, but really like that you added some contrast with the cardigan!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great dress. You can pair so much with it.
ReplyDeleteI like the color, too! And I think that cardigan is a perfect match for it!
ReplyDeleteI really like the color of this dress too! I'm glad you saved it, it looks great here!
ReplyDeleteI would think to style this dress with bright colors, but I actually prefer the leopard cardigan much more! I think the two make for a stellar pairing!
ReplyDeleteI love that color, it's perfect to pair with any color! I like how you've paired it with black and white floral!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if a bright red accent with your leopard print cardi would really pop with it. I actually really like the color.

Hmmm don't ignore this gorgeous neutral beauty anymore. Plus it looks really nicely-made. Love that fun ombre cardigan, too. I think this dress would look great with an orange, red, bright yellow or cornflower-blue cardigan, too. =)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I LOVE this dress on you! The color is really pretty, and I think pairing it with the leopard cardigan was a grat idea! I think it would look beautiful with any darker color as well: black, navy, brown, purple, maroon, even a mustard??
