Grayscale

John thought this was a fancy outfit.  I think maybe because there are no colors.  Because fancy people don't have time to wear crazy colors, so they just stick to neutrals?  Or maybe the white jeans seem fashiony, because you don't see many people wearing white pants in Nebraska in the winter.  I don't know.  All I can say is that I liked it better in real life than in pictures.

When wearing white jeans, I really should have found a better place to stand.  The dirty snow piled up behind me isn't doing this outfit any favors.  But it was really cold and windy out, and I didn't feel like finding another spot to set up, so this is as good as it gets for today.

Oh, and it was inspired by this pin.  So I'm linking up with Pinned It & Did It and Style Swap with Ginny and Jenn.

Blazer: H&M
Sweater: Gap

  1. I love this outfit! Those white pants are so nice and crisp (and look SUPER white against the snow).

  2. White pants ALWAYS look fancy to me. Plus I only wear them in certain rare fancy situations because I'm so afraid to ruin them!

  5. Ugh, I can relate. My usual photo taking spot is so muddy, that I was in front of a mound of snow, which, by the way, my dogs sometimes choose to poo on. Luckily I don't think any of it ever made it to the photos, but still. Stupid weather. ha. I don't know whether I'd call this outfit fancy (I don't often use that word), but I think it's classy. If I had white full length jeans, I'd copy this outfit in a heartbeat. Side note: how do you like your wedges? I'm in the market for some, but waffling between splurging and going cheap.

  9. I love Black paired with White & Gray. A Classic Combo that we all should wear more often. One of your best outfits.

  10. I love this, and think it looks amazing in the photos. So I can only imagine how great it looks in person if you prefer that to the photos!
