Orlando Recap

As I mentioned, I was in Orlando Sunday-Wednesday for a work conference that my company hosts every year for our clients.  It is a lot of fun, but also incredibly exhausting.  Here's a recap of my outfits and daily activities via iPhone pictures:

Sunday - woke up at approximately 4:30am to head to the airport.  Accidentally sent a "love ya" text to one of my co-workers that was intended for my husband.  So embarrassing.  I'm still being teased by everyone at work about this.  Made it to Orlando around 1pm, and hitched a ride over to the outlet mall near our hotel.  With only 45 minutes to shop, I totally struck out.  This is probably a good thing - save some money!

Target top, J.Crew shorts, Gap/Havaianas flip-flops, Dooney&Bourke purse
Sunday evening was the opening reception.  The band played and people danced.  I don't dance at work functions.
Gap dress, Limited belt, Carlos Santana sandals
Monday kicked off the meetings and breakout sessions.  I wore my only non-striped dress of the trip for this day.
H&M Scarf, Banana Republic Dress
The meetings were over at 3pm on Monday, so we had the rest of the day free.  I thought about going to one of the Disney parks, but decided the cost was too high for the limited time I would have.  Some of my work friends were heading to "Downtown Disney", which is a free area with shops and restaurants, so I went with that.  At least I got to pose with some statues.
Gap shirt and shorts, Converse shoes

My shoes gave me a blister, so I bought $4 flip flops with Mickey Mouse on them - High fashion!

Plus we found "Lefty's Left Hand Store" which was pretty exciting!

Tuesday was another full day of meetings.  One of the speakers showed this video, which is pretty funny.

Gap Cardigan, Banana Republic dress, NY&Co belt, BCBGeneration shoes

Tuesday evening was the fancier dinner, so I had a costume change.   After the dinner and presentations were over, I stayed up way too late chatting with my co-workers.  Then I got back to my room and had to get everything packed up again for my flight home.

Limited dress, BCBGeneration shoes

Another day, another striped dress.  This was my outfit for flying home on Wednesday.  It was sort of the perfect travel outfit.

Old Navy dress, Limited belt, concert souvenir hoodie
All in all, I'd say it was a pretty good trip.  I'm sad that I didn't have time to go to any of the real Disney parks, but hopefully I can go back to Orlando sometime.

  1. How fun! I love that first floral tank, it's like my skirt, right? Also, I love the multi stripe dress and the fancy purple stripe with the bow. I know I said it before, but I'd love to go to Florida, so cool you could go for work.
