Budget Rewind - March 2015

Let's review what I bought last year in March, and see how smart or foolish I was!

Good
Old Navy Maternity white jeans: $17 - I've worn these so much, and intend to wear them even more this spring and summer!
Old Navy Maternity striped tank: $5 - you can't go wrong with a navy and white striped tee.  I'm really glad I have this since I will be pregnant in the summer this year.
Loft Maternity black shorts and turquoise shorts: $6 each - these are the best maternity shorts!  I actually wore them a lot last summer (post-partum), because they were so comfortable, and my normal shorts didn't fit.  I'm sure these will get a lot of wear this summer, as well.

Target Pink Flats: $13 - I loved my old pink flats from Loft, so I wanted to get a replacement pair when I got rid of them. These have been perfect!

Medium
Gap scarf:  $9 - I wanted a new winter scarf, and thought this one was pretty.  Only I haven't really worn scarves at I all this winter, because I tend to be warmer when I'm pregnant, and when I'm carrying Mr. Baby around.

Bad
Loft printed chambray popover: $15 - I just thought this was pretty, but I don't really know what to wear it with these days.  I am sure I was imagining it with every different color of skirt I own, but I don't dress up that much anymore.  I don't like it with regular jeans, because denim on denim isn't my thing.  I think it's probably getting too tight at the moment, but maybe I can try again in the fall.  Or sell it.

Returned: these were both terribly uncomfortable, much to my dismay!
Black sandals: $20 - a complete mystery since I have the brown ones and love them.
Black/White flats: $9 - I was so bummed these didn't work out, because they were SO CUTE!

Budget Rewind- February 2015

Time to review my purchases from last year at this time.  February 2015 was another month of mostly maternity purchases.  These are tricky, but I think still categorizable, which apparently isn't a word.  It should be.

Good
Target Leopard print Ona flats: $8 - I've worn these well over 8 times, and really like them!
Target Maternity White tee: $5 - just a great basic.  I've worn it quite a bit more than I've blogged it.
Old Navy Maternity skinny jeans: $28 - I wore these a lot last pregnancy, and have worn them a lot so far this one.  They are a little too big, so I actually just ordered the same ones in a size smaller.
Old Navy Maternity black and gray leggings: $18 - These are so comfy!  I loved wearing them under dresses last year, and then for just general lounging around the house.
Old Navy Maternity black tee: $6 - another good basic tee.  Only blogged once, but I am sure I wore it a lot.

Medium
Loft Maternity Gray quilted dress: $16 - Oh how I love the idea of this dress!  But it is slightly too big around.  I am still wearing it, but it is a little awkward.  I feel like I have to belt it, but then it gets all bunchy. I wonder if I could take it in a bit, but I haven't had time to look at that.
Loft Maternity Chambray popover: $12 - this was another purchase that I thought I would wear nonstop.  But Loft maternity seems to run a little big, and this particular shirt gets so wrinkly.  I think it sat in my ironing pile more than it got worn.  I do think I will wear it in the coming months some.
Christopher & Banks Red Scarf: gift - I'm still on the fence about scarves, but this is a pretty one.

So hey, nothing too bad (or ugly) this month!  I think maternity shopping does make me focus on basics more, so there tends to be less risk of a huge mistake!

Budget Rewind - January 2015

Well, last January I mostly bought maternity clothes.  But I can still say whether or not they were smart purchases, even if they were only relevant for half of the year!

Good:
Loft Maternity Paisley Print Shorts: $4 I love these shorts and wore them a ton, both during and after pregnancy.  Seriously, I was wearing them for a few months post partum, because they were so comfortable.
Loft Maternity Navy Dress: $14 - I forgot this dress was so cheap!  Another one that I wore a lot.

Old Navy Maternity Black Polka Dot Ponte Dress: $16 - this was my other favorite maternity dress.  My only complaint is that the dots are kind of velvety, and they attract fuzz.  I don't think it's noticeable from far away, but it kind of annoyed me.

Medium
Gap Maternity navy sparkle tee: $6 - this tee is cute, but the glitter is kind of scratchy.  I thought I'd wear it after baby arrived, but it was too scratchy.
Loft Maternity Floral Jacquard Tee: $16 - I really loved this the first time I wore it, but it didn't hold up well in the wash.
Old Navy Maternity Black Pixie Pants: $32 - I got it into my head that I needed black pants, because I wanted an option for work that didn't involve tights.  I liked these, but probably spent more than I should have on them.
Gap Camo shorts: $2 - these have been nice lounge shorts for around the house.  I think they are meant for wearing out in public, but I don't think I ever will!

Bad
Gap Gray skirt: $8 - not a maternity skirt, just a size too big.  So I liked it while I was pregnant, but then it doesn't fit my normal self.  I can't decide if I should try to take it in a bit, or just sell it.  I don't wear skirts as much anymore, so it might not be worth the effort.
Loft Maternity Foil Layering Tee: $12 - this seemed like such a perfect basic tee, but I think I wore it twice.
Old Navy Maternity Black Paisley Top: $13 - pretty top, but the sleeves are randomly tight at the opening, so it's kind of awkward.  I only wore it a few times because of that.

So all in all, not terrible.  Even my bad purchases aren't too embarrassing.  Honestly, maternity shopping is super awkward, especially since I ordered almost everything online.  And then you get it and it's like "well, I can put it on... guess I will keep it!" instead of the normal idea of wanting things to fit a certain way.  And then the things you really like have an expiration date, and then you box them up to maybe wear again some day.  It's so weird.

Budget Rewind - December 2013

Quick, before we are halfway done with January, I still need to do my Dec13 rewind!!!  December 2013 was a fairly big month for shopping and presents!  Awesomely, all of the presents I got were things that I have liked and worn a fair amount, so we will lump those all into the good category!

Christmas Presents:
Gap boyfriend cardigan - Black
Gap Black/White striped tank
Gap boyfriend cardigan - Pink
Gap workout pants
Target Red polka dot scarf
Old Navy Polar bear sweatshirt

So then these are the things I actually bought.

Good - these are all boring staples that I have worn a bunch.
Gap Black and White camis: $6/each
Gap Pajama pants: $10
Gap Workout pants: $11
Gap Workout capris: $11
Target Black tights: $4
Target Navy tights: $6

Medium
Gap Black skinny jeans: $30 - I probably paid more than I should have for these, but they have been a good staple.  They were starting to look faded, so I sent them to Goodwill recently.
Gap Cream sweater: $8 - I got this to replace 2 similar sweaters that we're starting to look ratty.  This one is okay but a little boxy.
Gap Navy top: $4 - on the good side of medium, this is a nice neutral tank to wear.
Gap Coral top: $4 - on the bad side of medium, I just don't wear it as much.
Fleece-lined legging tights: $7 - medium because I don't remember what these are!
Thick footless tights: $5 - medium because I don't remember what these are!

Bad
Calvin Klein gloves: $12 - these are pretty but I rarely wear them.

So not my best month, but not my worst.

Budget Rewind - December 2014

The next several months of budget rewind are going to be weird, because I was pretty much buying maternity clothes.  So here's December 2014

Good:
  • Belly bands - I got a lot of use out of these in the first few months.  I was able to keep wearing my normal jeans and skirts way past the point of being able to zip them.
  • Jeans - Most of the jeans I bought were good.  The only ones that didn't really work out were the H&M Treggings, because the legs were so tight, but the waist band was so loose, they just kept falling down.  Not a good look.
  • Tights!  Listen, if you are pregnant and wear skirts or dresses, you NEED to get maternity tights. These were so comfortable.  The Old Navy ones were my favorite.  The H&M ones weren't long enough for my legs.
  • Black and tan dress - I ordered these 3 dresses on a whim when Younker's was having an additional sale on clearance.  This one was great.  The others... skip down a few categories.
Medium
  • Coat - I definitely needed a maternity coat.  This one was probably a little more fancy and expensive than I needed.
  • Kohl's shirts - using a gift card, I got the marled sweater, and a white ruffly tank top. While I normally wouldn't have bought these, I did like them and wore them quite a bit.
  • Old Navy sweaters - Christmas gifts from my in-laws!  I really liked both of these sweaters, but I just wasn't into thicker sweaters as much while I was pregnant.  Probably because I was hot all the time.

Ugly
  • 2 blue Younker's dresses (here and here).  These were both terrible.  I wore them a couple times just out of stubbornness, but they were made for someone about 6 inches shorter than me, who happens to have a very flat chest.
The good news is that I spent birthday money on all these things, so it didn't cut into my clothing budget.  And for going into pregnancy with no idea what might fit, and having to order most things online, I think I did okay.

Budget Rewind - November 2013

It's crazy to look back at how much I bought each month.  Here's November 2013.  The outlet mall opened up, which made J.Crew Factory more accessible to me.  And of course, I had to hit up some black Friday sales.  For the most part, these were good decisions, at least.  Here's the ratings:

Good
F21 Gold chain necklace (similar: $11 - blogged 23 times, worn many other times, and still like it.
Gap factory midrise Skinny Jeans: $30 - these were great jeans.  They don't fit right anymore, so I'm getting rid of them, since I have a few pairs of newer jeans that I like.
J.Crew Factory Camel Cardigan (similarsimilar): $24 - blogged 26 times, and worn much more!  I love it when a more expensive item ends up being well under the $1 cost per wear.
J.Crew Factory Polka dot popover (similar): $31 - blogged 11 times, worn a handful of other times. I probably spent a little more than I should have, but I suspect it will continue to be a favorite shirt in the coming year.
J.Crew Factory printed button-up shirt (similar): $16 - only blogged 8 times, but I'm sure I've worn it a lot more than that.  I really love this shirt.
Old Navy red cardigan (exact):  $10 - blogged 11 times.  Just a good basic piece in a perfect red color.
Old Navy cobalt skirt (similar):  $10 - blogged 13 times.  This skirt was neglected for a few months after I bought it, but then I've worn it a lot.  I just love a knit pencil skirt.  It is starting to look a little rough.  I might keep my eye out for a replacement.
Old Navy gray/silver flats:  $12 - blogged 33 times.  I bet I've worn these 100+ times.  They are falling apart.  I wore them about a week ago and noticed the back seam is coming apart.  Sad day.  I'll definitely need a replacement for these.
Old Navy tights (3 pair - brown, gray, tan) (exact): $4 each - I really like Old Navy tights.  They are long enough (yay) and tend to hold up pretty well.
Steve Madden Kambyy Boots (exact): $95 - blogged 45 times, but again, I bet I've worn them over 100 times.  I remember feeling bad when I bought these, because I hate to spend so much on an item, but it's a way better $100 spent than 5 things that cost $20 and I never wear.  I need to remember this!

Medium

J.Crew Factory Sylvia wedges black (exact): $59 - blogged 16 times?  I'm actually surprised by that.  I like these a lot, but they are a little bit too big, and I rarely wear heels.  I do think they are a pretty classic shoe, so hopefully they can be my standby basic black pumps for years to come.
Old Navy cobalt pumps (similar):  $12 - blogged 5 times.  Again, I love these, but they aren't comfortable at all, and I don't wear heels very often.  I'd much rather have some cute cobalt flats.  I think these are going in the sell pile.

Ugly
F21 Love bracelet (similar): $2 - for how cheap this was, I guess it isn't so terrible, but still.  I could have bought half a frappuccino with that money!  I did probably wear it twice.

Honorable mention
Kate Spade bow earrings: $14 -I ended up returning these, because I so rarely wear earrings.  This was a good decision!

Budget Rewind - November 2014

I hardly bought anything in November 2014.  Both of these items are solidly in the medium category.
H&M striped sweater: $10 - I probably haven't worn this 10 times yet, but it has been an easy sweater to throw on.  I suspect I will wear it even more this winter
Gap knit skirt: $10 - I wore this a lot over the summer.  It was a perfect comfortable option post partum.

So pretty decent last year!  Now in November 2013, I bought a bunch of stuff!  But more about that tomorrow.

Budget Rewind - October 2013

October 2013 was a pretty good month (again, birthday month helps keep me in check)!  Some of these things were gifts, but since they were on my wish list, I still think it makes sense to rate them!

Good:
J.Crew Factory Coat (gift) (long version)- awesome coat that is super warm.  Has it ever been blogged??
Harvey's Seatbelt Bag (gift) (Exact)- I've wanted a Harvey's purse forever so I was pumped to finally get this one!  It's pretty much the only purse I have used in the last two years, Except now I mostly use a diaper bag.
Steve Madden boots (gift) (exact)- I've worn these too many times to count (including almost 70 blog posts) and even bought the exact same boots in brown.  Pretty much a staple for getting through Midwest winters.
Limited White Skinny Jeans (similar):  $25 - a little more than I'd have liked to spend, but 2 years later, I've worn them a lot and still do.
Limited Oatmeal Boyfriend Cardigan (similar): $14 - another great neutral item for the closet.  Blogged 11 times, and surely worn quite a bit more.

Old Navy gray tights (similar): $10 - frequently worn.  I guess I like the dark gray tights better than black sometimes.
Old Navy Pointy-Toe Ankle Strap flats  (similar): $23 - I had my eye on these shoes for quite awhile but was hoping for a sale.  Then I went ahead and bought them and I'm so glad I did!  With 44 blog appearances, and who knows how many other times I've worn them, definitely worth the price.  They are starting to look a little rough.  I think it would be wise for me to invest in a higher quality version.

MediumConverse Chuck Taylors (similar):  $45 - well, my old Chucks were chewed on by a friend's dog and I was anxious to replace them.  I bought these ones when I should have waited for normal ones.  These have the weird double tongue where you can fold the top one down, which I'm not going to do.  I mean, I like them and wear them a lot but I wish they were just the plain version
Gap Leopard Loafers (similar): $25 - how do you categorize something that you really love, but hardly ever wear?  I always think I should wear these, but then feel weird when I put them on and pick a different shoe.  Maybe I'll wear them more this year?

So yeah, Octobers are nice for shopping, I guess!

Budget Rewind - October 2014

October 2014 was a good month!  October is usually pretty decent, because my birthday is at the end so I'm not allowed to buy myself anything that someone else might buy me.

Good
  • Target black blouse: $5 - I like this top, and was able to wear it for most of pregnancy, and then immediately after Mr. Baby was born.  It's easy to wear, but looks a little fancy.
  • Gap factory navy boyfriend cardigan: $10 - I am confused that this has only made the blog once.  I wear it all the time.
  • Gap Factory black/gray stripe boyfriend cardigan: $10 - I really like my boyfriend cardigans, and this one is fun because it's got the subtle stripe going on.
  • WSU Hoodie - this was a bday gift, but it was on my wishlist, so I'm including it.  I love it.  Most of my hoodies were from college and getting kind of worn, so it's nice to have a newer one!

Medium
  • Gap bootcut jeans: $17 - I guess I was being sneaky during my Oct14 post, but these were actually maternity jeans.  I didn't wear them as much as I thought I would, because I liked my skinny jeans more.  But for $17, I think they were an okay decision.
  • J.Crew Factory checkered cap: $10 - I've worn this a handful of times, but think I might more this fall/winter.  I really like it, but don't always remember it is an option.
  • Limited outlet navy/white striped dress: $20 - I guess I've only worn this 3 times?  It didn't fit for a few months of pregnancy, so that's one excuse.  I should make sure I wear it more, because I really like it.
  • Gap blue/white striped tee: $3 - I have to confess, it took me some time to figure out what shirt this was.  But once I did, I remembered that I really like it!

Good job, one year ago Andi!

Budget Rewind - September 2013

September 2013 is probably my most shameful shopping month ever.  At least I'm not being dramatic about it!  I remember it being a pretty rough time at work and I know I was shopping to relieve stress.  Not a great plan!  So anyway, this is going to be mostly bad.

Good
Banana Republic Anchor tee: $4 - cute tee that I've worn at least 4 times and still like.
Limited Mint necklace $7 - I still like this and I think it might be short enough to wear even with Mr. Baby grabbing everything.
Gap Star tee: $6 - I've worn this a lot just with shorts and sandals in the summers.
Gap White Tank: $6 (originally $23)  (worn here) love this tank!  The burnout stripes are fun.
Gap Striped tank: $5 (originally $25) navy and white stripes are good for me.  This is another summertime MVP.

Medium
Athleta Tankini Top:  $35 and Swim bottom:  $30 - I needed a sportier swimsuit and this one has been okay.
*Nine West Sunglasses: $10 - I have the worst time with sunglasses, probably because I refuse to pay more than $10.  I'm sure I wore these quite a bit until they broke.
Payless Nude flats: $20 - I liked my nude pumps so much that I decided I needed flats.  I specifically went to Payless to get these and stubbornly bought them.  I don't really like these that much but I still have them and wear them sometimes.

Bad
Limited Polka Dot Skinny Jeans $10  (worn here) - these are probably too trendy for me.  Although, when I look at how I have worn them, they are kind of cute...
Limited Bootcut Jeans $45 - I had decided that I really needed a pair of non skinny jeans.  So I bought these for more than I should have.  They shrunk in the wash so are a little shorter than I'd like.  I reserve them for casual outdoor activities.  Not great fr $45.
Limited Dalmatian print belt $3.50 - impulse buy!  It's cute, but I haven't worn it much.  If I had a more neutral wardrobe, it would be an awesome addition.  I should really wear it with my LBD sometime, that would be cute!

Ugly
Payless Cognac Sandals: $4 - these were pretty uncomfortable which defeats the purpose of flat sandals.  The color was too orange.  I wore them a couple times before buying a better option.
Payless Gray booties: $7 - somewhere along the way I decided that i should get some flat booties, so these seemed like a good idea.  Only I couldn't figure out when to wear them.  They looked dumb with skirts or dresses or skinny jeans.
Michael Kors Striped tank: $7 - I just bought this because it was MK and cheap.  I've worn it once.  In theory I should like it.  I need to either wear it more or sell it!
Jones NY Striped Blazer: $7 - this is another hard to style piece.  I had almost bought the coral blazer from gap that everyone had, but never did.  So when this striped version was available, I grabbed it. I just don't know what to wear with it.
Restricted Wedges: $3 - so dumb.  Cute but super impractical shoes.  In my original budget post, I as "
I mean, what was I supposed to do - leave the $3 shoes??  Let's not be crazy, okay!"  Yes, 2013 Andi, leave the $3 shoes!

So much shame and buyer's remorse on this list.

Budget Rewind - September 2014

September 2014 was a pretty good month.  Probably because I knew I was pregnant, so was buying things with that in mind.  I did end up with a few things that are now too big (yay?), but I knew/hoped that would happen, and they should be pretty easy alterations whenever I have time to sneak some sewing into my schedule.  So here's the breakdown:

Good
  • J.Crew polka dot popover (similar) $24 - I love this shirt so much!  And I've worn it quite a bit considering it didn't fit for a few months of pregnancy.
  • F21 Long silver necklace (similar) $8 - another frequently worn necklace.
  • Old Navy Pink skirt (similar): $3 - this is too big now, but I think I can take it in myself with a few simple stitches.
  • H&M layering tanks (gray and navy) (exact): $5 each - Really great for wearing under everything.  These are stretchy enough to provide a little support without being uncomfortable.

Medium

  • Gap navy skirt (similar): $12 - this should maybe be good?  It's also too big and needs to be taken in.
  • Gap white/black tee (similar): $7 -  I just haven't worn this as much as I thought I might.
  • Old Navy windowpane top: (similar) $10 - I really like this too but haven't worn it very much.  I will have to wear it more!
  • H&M black/gray leopard tee: $13 I just bought this because I was excited about h&m opening but everything else I liked seemed like a gamble on whether it would fit for very long.  I like it but probably could have left it.
  • Old Navy white skirt (similar): $3 - I thought I liked this more than my white skirt from Banana Republic, but I've grabbed that one more often this summer.  Maybe the embroidery is awkward?  Basically, I had a white skirt that I LOVED about 12 years ago, and no other white skirt will ever be good enough, but I keep trying to find the perfect replacement.
Bad (but not too bad)
  • Gap white/gray skirt: $12 - the picture in the collage isn't right at all, it's more of this style.I thought I would like these stretchy skirts more during pregnancy and right after, but by the time it was warm, I really preferred maternity shorts.

So there you have it.  September 2014 might make up for the shame that I am about to share tomorrow with September 2013.  It's really bad, you guys.

Budget Rewind - August 2013

August 2013 was a pretty good month for shopping.  I look at this collage and still have and like everything, so that's an accomplishment for 2 years ago!

Good
J.Crew factory chambray popover: $31 - I think the chambray has proved its worth over and over again.
Love Culture Pink Sandals: $6 - this store randomly appeared at the mall and then disappeared just as fast.  It was kind of like Forever21 - cheap and mostly nothing I wouldn't of ever wear!  But I found these sandals and I love them!   Update - they still have a website.  And I'm pretty sure I had these shoes in 1998.

Medium
J.Crew factory pencil skirt: $25 - online this skirt looked more red.  In person, more orangey.  And it was final sale.  I like it and have worn it quite a bit.  But it was probably foolish to spend $25 on a final sale item that was a gamble.  I need to try it on and see if it still fits, and then consider whether I will be needing pencil skirts as a stay-at-home mom.
Loft Plum tank: $8 - I've worn this more than I've blogged it.  It's a little see-through, which isn't great, but I like the color and I think it fits nicely.
Loft Paisley Cardigan: $12  - blogged 4 times.  This one is tricky because I LOVE IT.  But I hardly ever wear it.  What's up with that?  I need to wear it more!

Bad
Loft Orange/White stripe tank: $7 - I think I've worn this more than just the one time I blogged it.  I hope.  I think it's cute, so I should try to wear it more!

As far as budget rewinds go, not too shameful.  I'm already bracing for the shame of September 2013.   So make sure to come back next month for that post.

Budget Rewind - August 2014

August 2014 seems like a million years ago!  These are the last things I bought before finding out I was pregnant!  And the collage features some "close enough" options, which are actually cuter than the real versions I got.

Good
Gap factory black/white skirt and Gap factory orange/blue skirt: $13 each - I love these skirts and have worn them both quite a bit!
Loft outlet lace tee: $22 - this was a replacement for my H&M lace tee that I wore until it was basically ruined.
Macy's floral skirt: $15 - another skirt that I love! Shoutout to Danielle who actually linked to this skirt in one of her posts, and I promptly purchased it.
Gap factory white tank: $2 - I wear little tank tops under almost everything, so I'm happy when I can find them for a good price!
Target gold flats: $8 - comfortable flats, and they are a fun alternative when I want something neutral but kind of sparkly.
Target navy sandals: $8 - I wanted to buy these when I first saw them, but didn't want to pay full price, so I was super excited when I found them later in the summer on sale!

Medium
Loft outlet maroon dress: $12 - I tend to avoid "fall" colors (like maroon, olive, mustard) because I just don't like them as much as brighter colors, but this maroon/Marsala/oxblood dress (whatever we are calling it this year) was cheap and comfortable and I thought it would fit in well with my closet.  I have worn it a fair amount and think I will continue to, but I probably wouldn't buy it again if I could go back.  I don't have as much fun styling it as I do with most dresses.
Gap factory gray/white striped tee: $3 - I need to stop with the cheap cotton tees from Gap and Old Navy.  I think we've established this time and time again.  I'm sure I've worn this more than 3 times, but it was just unneeded.

Ugly
NY&Co striped pleated skirt: $15 - after the suit buying fiasco in May, I waited about 2 days too long to return the suit at NY&Co, so I was stuck with a gift card.  But I never shop there.  I bought this skirt and knew it was a mistake, but I was being stubborn (full story here) I guess it's cute, but I never would have bought it with real money.  I might try wearing it one more time and then see if I can sell it!
Target mint flats: $5 - well, I haven't even worn these yet, so these were obviously not a great decision.  I do think I would have worn them in the spring if my feet weren't swollen, but I have no excuse for not wearing them yet this summer.

So not great, but not terrible!  Then my shopping strategies changed quite a bit as of September, what with growing a human and all.

Budget Rewind - July 2013

I got a bunch of stuff in July 2013, so let's see what was smart or foolish!

Good
Dillard's Dress: $28 - love love love this dress!  I've worn it a bunch and will continue to wear it!
Gap Pink Striped Tank Top: $11- I know I've worn this a lot more than I've blogged it.  Just an easy summer tank.
Gap Blue Printed tank top: $14 - I like this one because it's a pattern that isn't stripes!  I've worn it quite a bit.
Gap Smile Sweater: $6 - cozy sweater with a fun command on it.  I tend to wear it just with jeans, so don't blog it that much.
Gap Hoodie sweater: $4 - I've definitely worn this more than 4 times.  It's iust a good basic layering piece!
Gap 3 Threadless t-shirts(1/2/3): $2.50 each - these have been styled up for work, worn to the gym, and everywhere in between.

Medium
Gap Green stripe cardigan: $8 - I want to love this cardi, but I just run out of ideas for how to wear it.  I'll have to brainstorm (polyvore-storm?)
Dillard's Lace pocket top: $17 - this is another one that I really think I love but rarely wear. The orangey-red maybe doesn't play well with most of my bottoms?  Another item I should try to wear more.
Dillard's Pink Polka dot skirt: $12 - I was under the influence of my nieces when I bought this, but I do sort of love it!  It's tricky to style for some reason.
Dillard's Leopard sequin tank top: $12 - I really like this one too, but don't wear it as much as I'd expect.  The sequins are a bit much maybe?  And I can't really wear it at the moment because it would be uncomfortable for the baby when I'm holding him.

Bad
Dillard's Floral shoes: $10 - blame the nieces for these!  They begged me to buy them and I gave in because floral shoes are fun!  But I don't wear high heels much and the crazy floral pattern doesn't go with a whole lot. It appears I haven't worn these in almost 2 years.  Just a silly mistake!
Old Navy Gray striped tee: $5 - for only $5 I should probably let this be in the medium category but I just need to stop buying cheap striped tees at old navy.  I always get frustrated with the low quality!
Old Navy Purple striped Tee: $5 - ditto

Ugly
Goodwill Gap Long and Lean Jeans: $1- I bought these in a panic before our trip to Montana because I didn't have any old jeans for hiking around and possibly messing up.  For $1, I guess it can't really be that dumb, but I never wore them again.
Goodwill Bitten by SJP jeans: $1- ditto

So, I wish there were fewer things in the Bad/Ugly categories, but at least those purchases only add up to $22.
