Graphic Tee

I basically have ESP.  Exhibit A - I was already wearing this outfit on Friday when I read Bri's Third Thursday Threads announcement for "Dressed up tees" - brilliant!  There is no Exhibit B for my sixth sense, but I think I've proved my point.

This outfit was inspired by the fact that it was Friday, and I wanted to be comfortable, but I was also going to see Stomp after work, so I wanted to be a little bit fancy.  I think I achieved my goal, because this sparkly gold skirt always makes me feel fancy.  This is one of the Threadless tees I scored at Gap earlier in the summer for $2.50 and I've worn it a lot, but never on the blog.

Stomp was good, but not as good as I expected it to be.  There were some really cool moments, but it started to feel really repetitive.  It was like the same scene over and over but now they are using brooms, and now they are using matchboxes, and now trashcans.  I guess I just expected it more from it.  I was also really distracted by their outfits, because it was sort of like 1991 called and wanted their clothing back.

Have you seen Stomp?  What did you think?

I'm obviously linking up for Third Thursday Threads, as well as What I Wore to WorkLook What I Got, and Tres-Chic.

Tee and Skirt: Gap
Cardigan: Old Navy
Shoes: Target

  1. I haven't seen Stomp. It seemed kind of expensive and now after hearing what you thought, I will probably pass.

Your graphic tee is really pretty and you look great in blue!

  3. I don't own a graphic shirt because I haven't found a design I love yet. If I'd have seen that one I totally would have snatched it up though! What a great deal on such a cute shirt! It looks so good with your gold skirt, too.

  4. That's enough proof for me! I've never seen stomp, and now I'm not so sure I'm missing out on too much. Love the outfit, threadless tees are my favorite and I love dressing them up too.

  8. Is your skirt shimmery and shiny? I like that! And the blues! I used to want to see STOMP really badly, but then I got over it once I saw a really long clip of it. I think the concept is neat though.

  9. Oh gosh can your next link-up plzzzz be graphic tees?! I'm a t-shirt fiend (wearing one on the blog today, hello!). I started loving them in middle school and literally now have to coach myself to not buy them when I'm shopping, but that's what I always gravitate to! This one is especially adorable, I love the swirls and that skirt is fab too!
