Order in the Court

Apparently my new recipe for getting dressed is a graphic tee + skirt + boyfriend cardi + cute flats.  (exhibit A)  Apparently I also like to include "exhibit A" language in my posts about these outfits.  I have no idea why.  Maybe it's because middle school Andi wanted to be a lawyer.  Then I worked for lawyers when I was in high school and I didn't want to be one anymore.  Then one of my favorite college classes was Business Law, but it wasn't enough to sway me back into the legal field.  So I'll just use what I imagine may be legal jargon on my fashion blog.  Everyone wins.  Except for actual lawyers, because they will probably be embarrassed by my improper use of said jargon.  OBJECTION!  SUSTAINED!  HEARSAY! ALLEGATIONS!  I should really watch more Law & Order to brush up on this stuff!

I rest my case.

Tee & Shoes: Gap
Cardigan: Marisa Kristina
Belt: Chinese Laundry
Skirt: Old Navy

  1. Ha ha! This is a formula that works for you and I love it! What a cute graphic tee. I would really like to add a few to my wardrobe, but have a hard time finding that line between teeny bopper prints and old lady stuff. This is a perfect in between t-shirt.

  2. This post reminds me of Legally Blonde and her video application to Harvard Law! Haha! The pink cardigan looks so good with this outfit and adds a pretty pop of color!

  3. I was about to call you out on being all Legally Blonde and then Laura beat me to it! Love the graphic tee - super cute, especially with the bright cardi!

  4. I used to want to be a lawyer until I found out that you might have to defend someone who did something wrong and try to argue that they are innocent. No thanks. I'll stick to teaching ethics instead. I am a fan of this recipe, and love that you chose a bold cardigan :)

  7. Hahaha! High school and even college Kim wanted to be a lawyer. Then I realized I was a terrible public speaker, so lawyer probably wasn't the career path for me. :( I still use the legal jargon I learned in every day life, too, though, so you're not alone!

In the words of Marshall Eriksen: lawyered.

Also, I LOVE that tee. So cute!
