This outfit is 100% inspired by Whitney. She included it in her One Piece Many Ways post earlier this week, and since I have a similar skirt, I thought I should go ahead and make a copycat outfit.
These sandals are a new purchase. I kind of bought 4 pairs of shoes last Friday. In my defense, 3 of the 4 were on my Wish List, and the other pair was $3 at TJMaxx, and super cute. And then I saw them at DSW for $55! Basically, I spent my whole September budget over the weekend, but I found quite a few good items, so it's allowed. Did you do any Labor Day shopping?

Sandals: Payless
Sunglasses: Nine West (also new)
How did you have such good luck at DSW? The only things left in my size were platforms and stilettos. I heard another woman raving about how she found a few pairs of $12 shoes. It just wasn't meant to be. (Until I found my blue suede heels, ha)
ReplyDeleteMy sentences were misleading! I bought the $3 shoes at TJMaxx, but then saw them the next day at DSW for $55. I added a little bit above so it makes sense now!
DeleteSuper cute outfit! I really like the cognac accessories with the pretty plum top too. I did not Labor Day shopping at all!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I just got a striped skirt like this and I am going to have to copy your outfit! I really like your sandals, they go perfectly with the belt.

ReplyDeleteI love this outfit on you! so adorable!
ReplyDeleteHi Andi! Thanks for the info on the take of my dress. I know the line does hit me wrong, but it doesn't feel wrong. Like it isn't uncomfortable. But I'm seriously wondering if I will wear it ever again. It may just return to the thrift store it came from. hahahaha.
ReplyDeletePretty look! I really love your striped skirt!

Perfect! I love black and white stripes paired with cognac or tan, I think it's such an interesting look!
ReplyDeleteHey Andi, thanks so much for coming by my blog!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great, classic look, I think I have this skirt in the blue stripes, such a great find! Luckily I was road-tripping all weekend so I didn't do too much shopping damage, just a touristy t-shirt :) I'm sure you'll get a lot of wear out of these sandals though! Can't wait to see the other pairs!
perfectly priya
Cute outfit! I didn't do any shopping over the weekend, although I would have liked too :)

Love, love, love this look!!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is fantastic! I have a similar skirt and I am definitely copying you in the future (or copying Whitney). The belt really completes the outfit.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this outfit! The inspiration to it is one of my all-time favorites of Whitney's though, so I'm not surprised I love it just as much on you, either :) I have the same skirt and should try to recreate this before it gets too cold to wear a sleeveless top! Those new sandals are really nice, too - love the color!!
ReplyDeleteI've been super behind on commenting and visiting blogs! I adore this outfit on you -- you look great (even if I'm a little biased on the outfit ;) )!
