So Nice, I Bought it Twice
Meet another new skirt. I loved this style at Gap Factory so much, I had to buy it in both color/pattern options. Plus, they ended up being $12 each during friends and family weekend, so I couldn't resist. I should have taken a close up picture, but the stripes are chevron - blue and a coral/orange/pink color. Basically, the stripes will look like they go with most colors of tops. But I went with the easy option of my trusty chambray popover. Again, I like it so much that I bought a second one in the exact same color/style.
For the record, I only bought these sandals in navy, although I was very tempted to buy mint or black as well. And it might still happen if they get even cheaper at Target.

There is no shame in that! I recently did the same thing with my favorite BR maxi dress. It's so worth it!
ReplyDeleteI definitely have bought duplicates in the past when something has just been too amazing to pass up (like my $15 burgundy and pink ankle pants). If I ever find the perfect jean, I'll probably buy one in every color.
ReplyDeleteSo I think you made a great choice here-- it really looks like both skirts are going to get a lot of wear :)
DeleteWhat a cute skirt and such a great deal! I've gotten a few duplicate things, but the funny thing is that I don't end up wearing those items much- the ones that I know I would wear more often I don't have duplicates of! I know if I wear something more than twice in the first week I get it, it would probably be safe to buy a duplicate :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun skirt. I do the same thing to. When I find something I like
ReplyDeleteWhen you find an item that really works for you and you love, no shame in buying multiples. :) Those skirts are a great find!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is so cute! I love the pattern and colors! At $12 each I definitely wouldn't have been able to resist either!
ReplyDeleteI definitely buy multiples of things I love! If it fits well, it makes sense to take advantage of that!
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern and colors of this skirt, and it looks great with the light chambray.
If you love something, buy it in multiples! I have four of the same top that I wore to work all the time. And two of the same tanks. It's a super cute skirt. I can see why you wanted more than one!
ReplyDeleteI loved the other Gap Factory skirt when I first saw it on you, so I'd probably have bought them both too!
ReplyDeleteThis skirt looks great, but I can't tell, what's the material like? Is it thicker? Either way I like it but I'm curious!
ReplyDelete♥ perfectly Priya
I'm totally a sucker for buying multiples if I like something. I have multiple multiples in my capsule wardrobe right now (including three of the exact same shirt in three different colors, haha). If it works and I like it, why not get it, right?! Anyway, I really like this outfit a lot - you look comfortable and cute!
ReplyDeleteI buy multiples of favorite items all the time. That chambray popover is such a classic and that skirt is definitely adorable. Loft the soft colors and the chevron stripes. Come to think of this post, those sandals would be adorable in mint. =)
