Double Sweaters and a New (old) Necklace

These 2 sweaters were hanging next to each other as they dried and I thought they needed to be worn as a team.  And then I decided that I really need a purple cardigan, like not lavender, but really purple.  And then I searched on Shopstyle and couldn't find anything remotely close to what I would like.  So, I guess I should add it to my Wish List.  And you know, update that at some point, because I don't think I've looked at it in awhile.

Oh, and more importantly, this necklace is really cool, right!  My dad got it in Israel when I was a baby, and I don't think I ever wore it (and then the string was all stretched out).  So I recently restrung the beads and then forgot about it again.  Then Meghan suggested a wooden necklace to go with this outfit, and I remembered I should really wear this one sometime!  And I'm so glad I did!

Necklace: gift

  1. Such a clever idea to re-string the necklace! And I love it when outfits happen serendipitously like this :)

  3. The pastel colors are complimentary of each other! And I just love pastels during the winter. Also, so cool that your dad got that for you so long ago! Jewelry with sentimental value is the best!

  4. I've never thought of wearing a cardigan over a sweater! How clever! I just bought a purple cozy knit boyfriend/grandpa cardigan but am probably going to have to return it because I already have too many purple cardigans. Good job being so crafty! It's a great addition to this outfit, and so cool that it comes from Israel.

  7. These sweaters looks great together! I have a purple cardigan, but it was a gift. I guess I'm not sure I've seen many of them in stores now that you mention it! I love being able to fix old jewelry, it's like getting something new without having to pay for it!
