End of Summer Panic

Is anyone else in "End of Summer" panic mode?  I feel like I am trying to wear all my summer clothes before the winter shows up and I'm stuck in boots for the next 8 months!

In other news, I'm starting a new adventure this evening as an AWANA leader at church.  I'll be hanging out with the 5th and 6th grade girls pretty much every Wednesday from now until May, which I'm sure will be a lot of fun, and probably fairly ridiculous at times.  I'm sure they will all be mixing prints by the end of the year!  (I'm such a good influence!)

Dress: Banana Republic Outlet
Scarf: Calvin Klein

  1. I felt the panic a couple of weeks ago. It's weird to think about boots, scarves and cold weather already. This summer flew by and I didn't wear nearly all of my summer clothes.

Have fun with the girls at church. I bet they will all be fashionistas before it's all said and done :)

  2. I know what you mean about the panic. I bought a whole bunch of new skirts for work but I know I don't wear them much once it gets cold. Mostly because I'm not a huge fan of tights. Girls that age are fun, hopefully there wont be too much drama!

  5. I'm not quite in panic mode as 80-90 degree days occupy the 10 day forecast, but I did get slightly upset when I started planning outfits I wanted to wear for this weather and realized there are more outfits than there are warm days. Best wishes for AWANA!

  6. Hmm, I'm not really in panic mode yet. I don't love dressing for the summer and most of my summer clothes can be layered in the winter (with the exception of my shorts...I don't rock the shorts-and-tights look, ha!), so I'm ready for cooler temperatures. I really like this color on you - so pretty!!!
