Canada Day!

Since Canada was only a short drive from where we were staying, we decided to venture up there for one day.  This was probably my favorite day (even more favorite than reading by the pool!).  More pictures, with captions as needed.
Bear!  We were in the car, so no danger.  There was also a baby bear, but I couldn't get a picture

Collin's genius plan to use the self timer for a group shot!

John fashioned some walking sticks for crossing the streams
Collin and John very close to some sheep - one of the coolest moments of the trip!

Prince of Wales hotel - gorgeous!

This is the view from the hotel

Ben by the police station - we saw no actual mounties.

Needless to say, it was sort of gorgeous up there!  Way to go, Canada!

  2. Such beautiful views and how fun to run into some sheep! I think I would have freaked out just a little. I get excited just seeing deer, ha ha!

  4. Oh my gosh, so gorgeous! We are going on vacation with Kevin's parents and brothers next summer, and we're talking about either going to California or up into Canada. Looking at these pictures, I DEFINITELY want to visit here!!! Love that you saw a bear - they were my favorite part of Yellowstone last summer! :)
