General Silliness

These shoes - I love them, but they are ridiculous.  I tend to make some questionable shopping decisions when my nieces are with me, because they just convince me that OF COURSE I need some floral sandals. Good thing these were just $10, so I'm not making expensive foolish choices.  I just need to be creative and wear them a few more times before fall sets in, because I doubt these will be a closet staple for years to come.

In the spirit of ridiculousness, here are some silly pictures from this outfit shoot.  Sometimes my photographer/husband gets bored of me standing there smiling with my hand on my hip and tells me to do other things.  This time he was like "OK, look away from the camera and close your eyes.  When I say GO, strike a crazy pose!"

Photography magic, I tell ya.  I should really be on America's Next Top Model.

Top: J.Crew
Skirt: Loft

  6. Hahaha I love it. I love seeing photo shoot "outtakes." And those sandals are really pretty (if a little impractical)! I also love your skirt, and the chambray was a perfect pairing for it I think.

  7. haha fun pictures! But honestly, I LOVE these shoes. I would have been with your nieces on this one haha. I also really like the combination of the chambray with the pretty pink skirt.

  10. I love that your husband has fun with the photo taking. On the off chance that I ask mine to do it for me, he snaps a couple and either walks away or gives me a look like "that's good, right?" I love your skirt, btw. It really makes me wish I didn't settle for the first pink pleated skirt I saw and held out for a more appropriate fit/length. oh well.

  12. I love those shoes, Andi! This outfit is perfect for them (and omg you look like a skinny minnie!) - your nieces were spot on with these shoes :) I'm loving your photo shoot pics as well. I wish I could be brave enough to have Kevin take my pictures more often...but he teases me and makes me do silly things as well (and also doesn't get my entire body in the shot, which annoys the crap out of me!), so I stick to the self timer :)
