This week seemed like a month, and I don't really know why. Probably because Mr. Baby has his first real cold and has been miserable the past couple of days. He generally sleeps pretty well, but the last 2 nights have been rough.
In other baby-related news, did I mention Mr. Baby has started eating food? It's ridiculous and messy and lots of fun. The other day, he had pears and carrots (parrots) for lunch, and then squash and carrots for dinner (squarrots). I'm having way too much fun inventing words. Today, he ate prunes, which look alarmingly like barbecue sauce. When we finished, he sort of looked like he just ate some ribs. Which would probably taste much better. Anyway, I'm going to feed him sweet potatoes on Thanksgiving, because it seems like the festive thing to do.
The outfit is from October. I liked this top enough to wear it twice before sending it back to LeTote. Remember you can get $25 off your first month if you sign up using my code. And I really want you to, so I can get $15 off my next month!

Oh how fun--I will have such fun when Baby C starts to eat solid foods!
ReplyDeleteLove this color combination on you!
Aw, baby colds are such a bummer. Hard on everyone! But baby food - really is fun. I love the introduction of sweet potatoes on Thanksgiving - perfect.
ReplyDeleteI'm having deja-vu with this post. I swore that I already commented on it, and that we've already discussed parrots, but maybe that was in an email? Anyway. Do you put marshmallows on your sweet potatoes? That was my favorite part. I bet Mr Baby would enjoy them if/when he can have them!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your little guy is already eating solid food!!
