It's an exciting week for 2 reasons (well, maybe more, but 2 that I know of):
- My birthday is on Thursday. I'm kind of obnoxiously enthusiastic about birthdays (particularly my own), but I'll try to keep it to a minimum.
- Marissa and Heidi are hosting another Pantone-Inspired challenge this week. I participated in the spring, and met some of my very favorite bloggers, so I'm excited to see who I find this time!
So, today's color is vivacious, which is basically just a bright purplish pink, so I figure this skirt qualifies. I want to know who gets paid to come up with these color names, and then I want that job!
Also, this sweater and boots combo will be back tomorrow, because they are TURBULENCE-colored.

ReplyDeleteI love boots with skirts! I like how you grounded the brightness of the skirt and polka dots with your sweater and boots. Yay for birthday week for you! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your birthday goodies, hopefully you get the ON ankle strap shoes! Birthday weeks are always fun even as an adult. I really like the pink skirt paired with the boots too!
ReplyDeleteOoh yay, birthday week! And for real, who comes up with these color names?

This skirt is the perfect pop of color for this fall! Love this look on you. Thanks so much for joining us again! :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes it scares me how similarly we think. I was going to complain in my post about how people actually are getting paid to decide what colors are "in" each season. Ridiculous. Anyway, I like this outfit and hope your knees didn't get cold in this outfit!
ReplyDeletehi andi! this skirt totally works for vivacious; in fact, i have a very similar skirt i was so tempted to wear! i love the top you're wearing too and how it pulls in some additional colors. so glad you're back to join us for another round of pantone colors!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute, cute outfit! I love that skirt - the buttons up the front get me every time :)
